Parade of Homes Benefits the Community
It's a great opportunity to feature more than 32 beautiful homes, but the Northern Virginia Builders Industry Association Parade of Homes is also a chance for the building industry to give back to its community.
“A hundred percent of the proceeds will go to HomeAid Northern Virginia,” said Kathy Renaud, director of memberships for the NVBIA. “It's a very worthy cause.”
HomeAid Northern Virginia was created when the NVBIA recognized the need to increase services available to the temporarily homeless within the Northern Virginia area. Virginia has approximately 35,000 homeless people, including many children. HomeAid helps local individuals and families minimize the affects of homelessness on the health and well being of all family members. Builders throughout Northern Virginia donate time and resources to help HomeAid and other organizations help people in need.
In its 11th year, the Parade of Homes will be held October 4 & 5 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., both days. Hundreds of people will be attending to view the spectacular homes and get ideas for remodeling. “The Parade will target showcasing the latest trends and custom homebuilding,” said Renaud. “These builders can build whatever home is your dream.”
The Parade is an excellent opportunity to meet custom home builders – many from the Prince William region – whether you are interested in building a custom home, wanting to improve your home or you just want to see some of our region's finest homes.
